I’m tryin’……to get the hang of soldering, because I feel like I have more control over my jewelry designs, especially for the latest necklace… I have these beautiful, yummy pear-shaped briolettes of deep pink tourmaline (the October birthstone, right?) dangling below glamourous 14K goldfilled beads. All briolettes are handwrought and interspersed with chains. I soldered each link, then I hammered it for added texture and this time I didn’t add a pendant to the necklace. Well, this has been a great learning experience all around:). Next, I need to learn how to use Photoshop so I can bring up the best in my pictures, but that is a matter of practice, or I will just have to ask in the forums.
Well, I’m off now for the Christmas vacation and I’m hoping to have time now to make some original pieces. MERRY XMASS TO EVERYBODY!

The focal has been wrapped to a delicate, fancy links sterling silver necklace with tiny shiny sterling silver cone shaped and multifaceted beads.

Currently the necklace measures 18 inches (45,5 cm) and it closes with a simple toggle clasp that it is attached to the silver necklace with wrapped tiny faceted cone beads. I can shorten the necklace at no additional charge and can also be oxidized per request.
