Jewelry for the refined Lady
Author: admin
I’m tryin’……to get the hang of soldering, because I feel like I have more control over my jewelry designs, especially for the latest necklace… I have these beautiful, yummy pear-shaped briolettes of deep pink tourmaline (the October birthstone, right?) dangling below glamourous 14K goldfilled beads. All briolettes are handwrought and interspersed with chains. I soldered each link, then I hammered it for added texture and this time I didn’t add a pendant to the necklace. Well, this has been a great learning experience all around:). Next, I need to learn how to use Photoshop so I can bring up the best in my pictures, but that is a matter of practice, or I will just have to ask in the forums.
Well, I’m off now for the Christmas vacation and I’m hoping to have time now to make some original pieces. MERRY XMASS TO EVERYBODY!

A filigree sterling silver Wish Box drops from this delicate 925 silver necklace . The box has a nice weight and it is clearly detailed.
The necklace finishes with tiny nuggets silver and closes with a simple toggle .
I oxidized the silver to create a vintage patina.
A delicate, chic, elegant, this necklace goes well with any outfit, dressy or casual, just about what every woman needs!
Currently the necklace measures 19.5 inches (49,5 cm) and the filigree box measures 1/2 x 1/2 x 1/2 inch (10 x 10 x 10mm)
